Welcome to my web site, the pet portrait artist and thanks you for taking the time to visit. My name is Philippa Ellis and I am a pet portrait artist based in Cheshire, England. I specialise in high quality pet portraits of dogs, cats, horses and other wildlife in pastel or pencil to create an excellent likeness of your cherished pet.

If you or someone near to you adores their pet, then the gift of a pet portait makes a special occasion become even more memorable and heart warming. Not only that but the portrait provides a lasting tribute to that wonderful bond that people form with their beloved pets who we never forget and hold dear in our hearts.

A pet portrait acknowledges that bond and is sure to be appreciated, and what’s more it lasts forever and is a totally bespoke gift.

I will take care of everything from initial concepts through to the final framing if required. All you need to do is send me your favourite photograph and I will produce you a high quality unique portrait of your beloved pet to an excellent standard which you will cherish for years to come.

Ordering is straight forward and easy to do ; the development is fun and you can be involved if you like as I will send you regular updates on the portrait.

I work in pastel, coloured pencil or graphite ; please browse through my galleries for examples of each as each one gives a different look to the portrait. All are hand parinted or drawn using the best quality materials and so your pet portrait will last a life time.

I take a 25% deposit on placement of of the orders and will update you regularly as to progress via e-mail. When you are happy with your pet portrait I will post it to you securely by courier on receipt of the final balance.
